Netwerkdag Brussel

Heel wat burgers in Brussel ondersteunen mensen op de vlucht op vrijwillige en/of professionele basis in allerlei domeinen. We nodigen je graag uit om elkaar te ontmoeten en te inspireren op zaterdag 3 december in Den Teirling. Boeiende initiatieven aan het woord, conversatietafels, eten en artistieke talenten zullen de dag leiden!

Vrijwilligers en professionelen die zich inzetten voor mensen op de vlucht in Brussel, alsook geïnteresseerden in migratie gerelateerde onderwerpen.

Wat kan je verwachten

Ontmoetings- en inspiratiemoment: Het zal een dag zijn waarop we elkaar ontmoeten en inspireren, ervaringen uitwisselen, sterke sprekers horen, samen eten en artistieke talenten te zien zullen krijgen.

Ahmad Alsaadi

Ahmad Alsaadi is een jonge Syrische fotograaf, geboren in Daraa. Tijdens de revolutie werkte hij samen met het verzet als journalist en fotograaf onder verschillende bijnamen. In Brussel fotografeert Ahmad dagelijks de stad en haar kleine details en werkt hij als fotojournalist, assistent-regisseur en filmmaker.

In samenwerking met The Homelands Project.

Inspirerende (burger) initiatieven voor mensen op de vlucht aan het woord.

  • Den Teirling + Buddynamic: Koen en Heide over bouwen aan een sociaal netwerk

In Den Teirling kunnen mensen die een sociaal netwerk missen anderen ontmoeten in een ontspannen sfeer. Je kan er een boek of tijdschrift lezen, een drankje bestellen aan de bar, een babbeltje doen of deelnemen aan één van de vele activiteiten.

Buddynamic werkt nauw samen met Den Teirling en matcht mensen die een sociaal netwerk missen met een vrijwilliger. Coördinatrice Heide hecht veel belang aan het onthaal, de opvolging en een goeie matching van en tussen de twee buddies.

  • Kaj de Mug + Vrienden van K: Charel, Kamal en Rukhsar over jongeren en hun toekomst

Kaj de Mug is een Brusselse vrijwilligersorganisatie voor en door jonge vluchtelingen en nieuwkomers tussen 16 en 25 jaar. Het doel van Kaj de MUG is om jongeren (in opvangcentra) uit hun sociaal isolement te halen en hun toekomst mee vorm te geven. Dit doen ze enerzijds door activiteiten voor hen te organiseren. Anderzijds ondersteunen zij - in samenwerking met hun nevenorganisatie Vrienden van K - jonge vluchtelingen met of zonder wettig verblijf door hen een helpende hand te bieden bij hun toekomstplannen en hen een (tijdelijk) stabiel onderdak te geven. Fact check: door hun werk zijn vele successen geboekt!

  • Burgers actief in 'Palais des Droits' + Humanitaire hub : Nora Eellens en medewerkers Humanitaire hub over opvang en crisis

Elke dag voorzien burgers eten, drinken, matrassen en hygiënische producten om de asielzoekers die geen opvang krijgen van bed, bad en brood in de Paleizenstraat te voorzien. Ze krijgen daarin steun van de humanitaire hub, waar vrijwilligers en professionelen dagelijks meer dan 1000 maaltijden uitdelen, alsook kledij, medische verzorging en sociale of juridische bijstand aanbieden.

Marché Bildy Market

Marché Bildy Markt is een participatief kunstproject dat sinds enkele jaren ontwikkeld werd in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek en omringende gemeentes. Het project brengt lokale producenten, tradities en verhalen samen met de focus op thema’s zoals voedsel, sport, cultuur en welzijn. Bildy manifesteerde zich al in verschillende vormen: als een lokale markt, als pop-up performances, als een modeshow.

AiméDOH is een Belgische singer-songwriter uit DR-Congo. Zijn liedjes worden gezongen in Swahili en hebben een poëtische toon. AiméDOH laat mensen dansen, dromen en huilen.

Tarek Alsayed is een muzikant uit Syrië die in België woont en werkt als Oud-speler, componist, improvisator en leraar oosterse muziek en Oud.Tarek was lid van vele muziekgroepen en projecten en nam deel aan workshops en concerten in Syrië, Libanon, Tunesië, Turkije, Frankrijk, Duitsland, Polen, Malta, Hongarije, Portugal, Zwitserland, Oostenrijk, Luxemburg, Italië, Cyprus, Nederland en België.

De nombreux citoyens bruxellois soutiennent les personnes en fuite sur une base volontaire et/ou professionnelle dans toutes sortes de domaines. Nous vous invitons à vous rencontrer et à vous inspirer mutuellement le samedi 3 décembre à Den Teirling. Des iniatives fascinantes à la parole, des tables de conversation, de la nourriture et des talents artistiques animeront la journée!

les bénévoles et les professionnels travaillant pour les personnes en fuite à Bruxelles, ainsi que les personnes intéressées par les sujets liés à la migration.

  • Êtes-vous engagé à aider les personnes en fuite, ou souhaitez-vous le faire ?

Ahmad Alsaadi

Ahmad Alsaadi est un jeune photographe syrien né à Daraa. Pendant la révolution, il a travaillé avec la résistance en tant que journaliste et photographe sous différents surnoms. À Bruxelles, Ahmad photographie chaque jour la ville et ses petits détails et travaille comme photojournaliste, assistant réalisateur et cinéaste.

Initiatives inspirantes (citoyennes) pour les personnes en fuite qui parlent.

  • Den Teirling + Buddynamic : Koen et Heide sur la création d'un réseau social

À Den Teirling, les personnes qui n'ont pas de réseau social peuvent rencontrer d'autres personnes dans une atmosphère détendue. Vous pouvez y lire un livre ou un magazine, commander une boisson au bar, discuter ou participer à l'une des nombreuses activités.

Buddynamic travaille en étroite collaboration avec Den Teirling et met en relation les personnes qui n'ont pas de réseau social avec un volontaire. La coordinatrice Heide attache une grande importance à l'accueil, au suivi et à la bonne adéquation de et entre les deux copains.

  • Kaj de Mug + Vrienden van K: Charel, Kamal et Rukhsar sur les jeunes et leur avenir

Kaj de Mug est une organisation bénévole basée à Bruxelles pour et par les jeunes réfugiés et nouveaux arrivants âgés de 16 à 25 ans. L'objectif de Kaj de MUG est de sortir les jeunes (dans les centres d'accueil) de leur isolement social et de les aider à façonner leur avenir. D'une part, ils le font en organisant des activités pour eux. D'autre part, en coopération avec l'organisation parallèle Vrienden van K, ils soutiennent les jeunes réfugiés avec ou sans résidence légale en leur donnant un coup de pouce dans leurs projets d'avenir et en leur fournissant un abri (temporaire) stable. Vérification des faits : de nombreux succès ont été obtenus grâce à leur travail !

  • Citoyens actifs au ‘Palais des Droits’ + Hub humanitaire : Nora Eellens et le personnel du Hub humanitaire sur les abris et la crise.

Chaque jour, des citoyens fournissent de la nourriture, des boissons, des matelas et des produits d'hygiène pour offrir un lit, un bain et du pain aux demandeurs d'asile qui ne sont pas hébergés dans la rue des Palais. Pour ce faire, ils reçoivent le soutien du centre humanitaire, où des bénévoles et des professionnels distribuent plus de 1 000 repas par jour, et proposent des vêtements, des soins médicaux et une assistance sociale ou juridique.

Marché Bildy Market

Bildy Markt est un projet artistique participatif qui se développe depuis plusieurs années à Sint-Jans-Molenbeek et dans les communes environnantes. Le projet rassemble les producteurs, les traditions et les histoires locales en mettant l'accent sur des thèmes tels que l'alimentation, le sport, la culture et le bien-être. Bildy s'est déjà manifesté sous plusieurs formes : marché local, performances pop-up, défilé de mode.

Tarek Alsayed est un musicien syrien vivant et travaillant en Belgique en tant que joueur de oud, compositeur, improvisateur et professeur de musique orientale et de oud. Tarek a été membre de nombreux groupes et projets musicaux et a participé à des ateliers et des concerts en Syrie, au Liban, en Tunisie, en Turquie, en France, en Allemagne, en Pologne, à Malte, en Hongrie, au Portugal, en Suisse, en Autriche, au Luxembourg, en Italie, à Chypre, aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique.

Many citizens in Brussels support refugees on a voluntary and/or professional basis in all kinds of fields. We invite you to meet and inspire each other on Saturday the 3th of December at Den Teirling, Maesstraat 89, 1050 Elsene. Fascinating talking initiatives, conversation tables, food and artistic talents will enliven the day!  

For whom

Volunteers and professionals working for people on the run in Brussels, as well as people interested in migration-related issues.

  • Are you involved in helping people on the run, or do you wish to do so?
  • Are you looking for information and meetings?
  • Would you like to build a strong network in your city to welcome and support refugees?
  • Are you interested or do you have questions about projects in your city?
  • Do you like to exchange ideas with other people on migration related topics?

Inspiring (citizen) initiatives for refugees talking

  • Den Teirling + Buddynamic: Koen and Heide on creating a social network

In Den Teirling, people who have no social network can meet other people in a relaxed atmosphere. You can read a book or magazine, order a drink from the bar, chat or take part in one of the many activities.

Buddynamic works closely with Den Teirling and connects people who have no social network with a volunteer. Coordinator Heide attaches great importance to the welcome, the follow-up and the good match of and between the two buddies.

  • Kaj de Mug + Vrienden van K: Charel, Kamal and Rukhsar on youth and their future

Kaj de Mug is a Brussels-based voluntary organisation for and by young refugees and newcomers aged 16 to 25. The aim of Kaj de MUG is to bring young people (in reception centres) out of their social isolation and help them shape their future. On the one hand, they do this by organising activities for them. On the other hand, in cooperation with the parallel organisation Vrienden van K, they support young refugees with or without legal residence by giving them a boost in their future plans and providing them with stable (temporary) shelter. Fact check: many successes have been achieved thanks to their work!

  • Active citizens at the 'Palace of Rights' + Humanitarian Hub: Nora Eellens and the Humanitarian Hub staff on shelter and crisis.

Every day, citizens provide food, drinks, mattresses and hygiene products to offer a bed, a bath and bread to asylum seekers who are not housed in the rue des Palais. They are supported by the Humanitarian hub, where volunteers and professionals distribute more than 1,000 meals a day, as well as providing clothing, medical care and social or legal assistance.
